We would be remiss if we didn’t include: Tony G. “I’m going to rip you apart so hard!” Tony G has by no means been recognized for subtlety. Probably the most harsh mouths in the game, Tony G has numerous video clips on Youtube that focus particularly on his spectacular partying and his ability to berate and demean any unlucky opponent that busts out to him. Don’t anticipate to win or lose a hand with Tony G, no matter the dimensions, and anticipate to flee one of his tirades. Against him there’s no such thing as free money poker – even his celebrations leads to him insulting his opponent’s play, despite if he got it in good or bad.
Here’s another familiar one for fans of smack talk: Scotty Nguyen. “You call, it’s gonna be all over, baby!” Scotty’s behavior at the table used to be celebrated as amusing, overconfident babble which was part of the “Prince of Poker” and his role on the tables. Phil Hellmuth. “I mean, this guy can’t even spell poker!” Amazingly, for a short time, Hellmuth was recognized for his poker playing dexterity first and his extremely overconfident table chatter second. Once ESPN started televising the Poker Brat in action, opening along with his 2003 breakdown following being busted, cameras can’t get a sufficient amount of his self proclamations and utter meltdowns. As a rule now, though, you hear more concerning one of Hellmuth’s rants than you do his winnings, which is unfortunate. In spite of this, he’s certainly entertaining, regardless where he plays, when he shows up, (late, usually) or if he’s off-center or super confident. Get rake back at Phil’s site. God bless the Brat.

The first time I had heard of “The Mouth” was the 2004 WSOP, where Mike notoriously told Greg Raymer that he had undersized testicles. Ever since then, Mike has been a permanent resident on televised hold em tournaments as well as cash games, and he hasn’t failed to provide us some top-drawer Mouthisms over the years. As he likes to say, the kiddie game is down the street, while you’re playing against the Mouth.
